Yo — if you're reading this, you made it to the right place. Freeskies, Vol. 2 is a collaborative EP and I'm opening it up to the producer community to bring it to life. I've got three records that need new beats — and I want YOU to make them. Download the acapellas, cook something incredible, and submit it. The best ones land on the project with full credit, a master split, and publishing. Let's build something real.

submission rules.

Submit your remade version as an MP3 or WAV — no stems needed unless you're selected (we'll reach out if so)
One version per song — make it your best
You can submit for all three songs if you want a shot at multiple placements
Name your file: [ProducerName]_[SongTitle] (e.g. JohnDoe_Waiting.mp3)
Include your producer name, email, and DistroKid email in the form
You must have or create a DistroKid account to receive royalties — if selected and don’t already have an account, you can sign up at distrokid.com
Do not send any unsolicited beats or instrumentals, only the remade version of one of these 3 tracks. </aside>

By submitting, you confirm all of the following:

✅ You produced this beat yourself — it's original work

✅ No uncleared samples are present

✅ You haven't used beats, loops, or compositions belonging to anyone else without explicit clearance

✅ If selected, you agree to an exclusive license — the beat may not be sold or licensed to any other artist

✅ If not selected, you do not have permission to release the song using Nate Rose's acapella in any form without prior written approval from Nate directly

✅ Selected producers receive a 20% split on the master and 50% on publishing

✅ You will be credited by your producer name on all releases where your beat is used

✅ A DistroKid account is required to receive royalties — additional publishing info (IPI, etc.) will be collected post-selection

✅ Submitting the form constitutes full agreement to these terms

The references are in the folder to give you context — not a ceiling. What we're really after is something that moves. Something with texture, flavor, and a genuine identity of its own. It can be triumphant, gritty, off-the-wall, experimental. We want something that feels like a real record. Don't be basic. Push it… dare to be different.
